Summer at
the Library!

The Summer Reading Challenge is Coming Soon!

The SRC is an initiative of the library to:

  • encourage reading
  • generate interest and use of the library
  • help students keep their skills up
  • develop the habit of reading
  • have fun!

The 2025 Summer Reading Challenge  is a 9-week program (June 1 – July 31) filled with special programs, reading incentives, prizes, raffle entries, amazing performances for the kids and more!

All ages, from 1 -100, are welcome to join the Summer Reading Challenge by registering online beginning on May 1.

In June, stop by the library for your reading log and goodie bag. Begin tracking your reading and activities.

Everyone who completes the challenge gets a prize AND chances to win a raffle drawing.

Prizes must be picked up by August 25.

All reading counts!

Listening to audiobooks and Playaways count.

Reading to your baby, sister, brother, cat or dog counts.

Reading books checked out from the Library or books at home counts.

Read whatever, wherever, and whenever you want.
