Adult Services Supervisor

Are you creative, energetic, and highly motivated? Then the Library Center of the Ozarks wants you to join its team. We are searching for someone who is passionate about providing excellent library services to the community and excited about new challenges.

Primary Duties: The Adult Services Librarian performs professional-level librarian duties utilizing current technology and traditional resources. The librarian will be responsible for managing all adult programming and the adult collections.

Outreach & Marketing Specialist

The Outreach & Marketing Specialist is responsible for the promotion of the Library’s services, programs, and collections through traditional channels (print, online, media channels) and through community outreach (attending events, schools, etc.). The successful candidate is creative, highly motivated, and possesses excellent communication skills.

Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or beyond the regularly scheduled workday when time sensitive communications are needed.

Library Assistant – Children’s Department (Part-time)

Under basic supervision, the Library Assistant provides excellent customer service to patrons, primarily children and caregivers, in the Children’s Department. Assists with locating items, reference and reader’s advisory questions, shelving material, programming, and collection maintenance.

This is a part-time job, working a maximum of 20 hours per week, days and evenings and every Saturday. $14.00 per hour.

Library Assistant – Circulation (Part-Time)

Library Assistants are responsible for providing quality customer service to the public at the front desk and by phone. Under basic supervision, Library Assistants check-out and return material to the shelves, assist patrons with locating items, making copies, sending faxes, answering computer and reference questions, and other customer services. 

This is a part-time job, working a maximum of 20 hours per week, days and evenings and EVERY Saturday.  $14.00 per hour.
