The Library Center of the Ozarks is pleased to welcome the newest board member, Rachel Qualls, to its Board of Trustees.
Rachel was born and raised in the Tri-Lakes Area and is passionate about reading and community development. She is an active user of the library and is excited to help the library serve its patrons. She enjoys spending days on the lake with her husband of 25 years and their son.
Rachel’s history of community service has equipped her to step into her new role as a library trustee. As a former English teacher, Rachel knows the importance of literacy for a community. In addition to teaching, Rachel served as a member of the Hollister School Board and worked as the Director of Kids and Student Ministries at a local church.
The Library Center of the Ozarks is governed by a five-member Board of Trustees appointed by the Taney County Commission. Three trustees represent Branson, and two represent Hollister. Rachel joins the board as one of two trustees representing Hollister.
